Email Template Archival

The goal of email template archiving is to assist you as a marketer in organizing your email template section.

Some templates are used over and over again, while others are only used once. This may make it tough to locate a specific template in a single location. To make things easier for you, we've included the Archive option on the Email Templates you've made.

This will make it easier for you to move all of your unused templates to the archive folder.

Steps to archive email template

• Go to content section on the left hand side menu bar and click on Email under Template
• Click on the ‘Archive’ option on the email template
• If the template is already used for broadcast or journey then a pop up will appear stating the list of campaigns/journey the Email Template is used, click on OK
• The template will be moved to the ‘Archive’ folder

Steps to restore email template

• Go to content section on the left hand side menu bar and click on Email under Template
• Click on the ‘Archive’ folder
• Select the email template and click on the restore, it will be moved to the actual category from where it was moved to archival.

Points to be noted:

• Once a template is archived, it will no longer be available for selection while creating a campaign/journey, you'll have to restore it from the archive folder to use it again.
• If the templates are already used in broadcast or journeys then it will remain unaffected even after archival.
